Getting to know Tony Self

Anthony “Tony” Self is co-owner of Harcourts Hunter Mason Realty, located in Southern California. He is a third-generation California native and began his career in real estate in 1992 and as Broker Associate since 2011.

He has served in organized real estate, both as Chief Operating Office for Real Estate Business Technologies in 1999, a for-profit subsidiary of the California Association of REALTORS®. As a local member, he chaired the Budget & Finance Committee, served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer, appointed to the Central Regional Multiple Listing Service "CRMLS" Operational Steering Committee, and served on the Strategic Planning & Finance Committee. Anthony served on multiple committees at the local government level since 2011. He served for the City of Rancho Palos Verdes as a member of the Finance Committee and Chair of the Traffic and Safety Committee. Both positions were appointed by the City Council of Rancho Palos Verdes for multiple four-year appointments.

Since 1992, Anthony Self aka “Tech Tony” worked with many of the top real estate organizations in the nation and has personally trained well over 21,000 real estate professionals. Some of the leading companies Anthony worked with were: Auction.com; Hubzu.com; Real Estate Business Technologies; Realtor.com; ZIPForms, operated by the California Association of REALTORS®, and Old Republic Title Company. He is the author of the Save Time, Make More Money: Computer Shortcuts for Real Estate Agents- version one and two. He also was an instructor at the UCLA Extension Engineering College in Los Angeles for over five years. Teaching a broad range of subjects on web and multimedia development, utilizing advanced technology programs.
